Lace Pre Prod - Known issues

The following are issues with Lace Pre Prod that we are aware of and working on fixing. There is no need to submit a support request for them.

Thanks for helping us test Lace Pre Prod!

1. Transactions page is loading 

This may happen when the wallet has no transactions or a very low number of transactions (1-2). It may show with an empty state or with a loading bar that never finishes. As a workaround you can check your transactions in any of the testnet explorers: https://docs.cardano.org/new-to-cardano/cardano-tracking-tools

2. 24-word mnemonic

The current beta release of Lace Pre Prod does not support mnemonics of a length shorter than 24 words. Support for multi-length mnemonic in 2023.

3. Wallet restoration process hangs up

It may happen if the user has previously restored a wallet and removed wallet it (from settings), restoration may eventually succeed, but data might be missing or incorrect. Solution involves re-installing the extension.

4. dApp connector

The current beta release of Lace Pre Prod does not support all dApps.

5. Ledger wallet transactions

If you have multiple Lace instances or browser tabs opened simultaneously you may experience "Oops! Something went wrong..."

As workaround, please refresh your browser and ensure you have only one tab of Lace opened, then please try again.

6. cNFT visibility

While holding multiple cNFTs, you may see a placeholder.

Reinstalling the Lace extension and restoring the wallet from the recovery phrase should resolve it.

7. Sending a transaction

When sending funds “Review transaction” button might not be active instantly. 

Please allow it a few moments (10~ sec).

8. Glossary 

On this version of Lace the Glossary is mostly used as a placeholder, however the FAQ is working.
