How to restore an existing wallet?

To restore your existing Cardano wallet, you need to have your secret recovery phrase (24 words).

Once you have installed the Lace chrome extension, or removed the wallet, you should see the starting homepage:

1. Click the Restore button
2. Click OK on the page that prompts 'Restoring a multi-address wallet' - If you're restoring a wallet created in another application, you may find some of your assets are not visible. Don't worry. Create a new wallet and send your assets to your new Lace wallet address and everything should be visible again.
3. Next, read and accept the Terms and Conditions
4. Then agree to (or skip) providing analytics
5. Enter a Name for your wallet. This can be any name, it does not have to be the same as the original wallet. This is only a label for your reference
6. Enter a password for your wallet. This can be a new password, it does not have to be the same as the original wallet password
7. Enter your Secret Recovery phrase for your wallet. This must be the correct secret recovery phrase. 

   Lace will not prompt you if you input the incorrect word, spelling or incorrect order of words and will restore an empty wallet with 0 balance.

8. Click Go to my wallet to access your wallet
9. Don’t forget to Pin the extension!
