How to delegate to an active DREP in GovTools from your Lace wallet

So that you know, you must delegate to DREP to transact successfully. If you try to send or move funds out of your wallet and receive an error message “NotDelegatedToDRep” you need to follow the steps below:

1. Open Lace UI to full screen like below:

2. Select Voting Center and click Access Govtool

3. After Clicking Access Govtool, you will be brought to the official Govtools website. Next, click Connect Your Wallet:

4. Follow the steps to connect the Lace wallet. Note you will be required to authenticate and authorize the wallet

5. Next, choose a DREP from the DREP directory. Click View DREP directory

6. Search for DREP and click the delegate button

7. You will be asked to Authorize the delegation transaction.

8. The DREP you have delegated to should show in the dashboard like below:

9. The delegation transaction should show in your wallet activity.

Congratulations you have successfully delegated to DREP. You can now transact within your wallet. Note that you can delegate to any DREP that is active in Govtools and remember your ada is never locked once you delegate you are free to move your ada out of the wallet at any time.
