This is the first release of a special version of Daedalus for use with the Incentivized Testnet. It is not compatible with the Cardano mainnet.
It can be used by ada holders who had ada in a Cardano mainnet wallet at the time of the balance snapshot (12.00 UTC, November 29, 2019) who wish to participate in the Incentivized Testnet program and earn real ada rewards by delegating their stake on the Incentivized Testnet.
Balance wallets are copies of mainnet wallets which existed at the time of the balance snapshot (12.00 UTC, November 29, 2019). These copies of mainnet wallets can be restored as Balance wallets on the Incentivized Testnet by using this version of Daedalus, and will contain equivalent amounts of testnet ada to be used for the duration of the Incentivized Testnet.
Rewards wallets are new Shelley-compatible wallets that support delegation and other Shelley features. Testnet ada can be moved from Balance wallets to Rewards wallets to be used for delegation and earning real ada rewards on the Incentivized Testnet.
Shelley features on the Incentivized Testnet
Shelley features include:
- The delegation center, which provides details of the current Cardano epoch on the Incentivized Testnet, and an overview of all Rewards wallets and their delegation preferences.
- Stake pool browsing, a list of all stake pools and their details, ordered by apparent performance.
- A Rewards tab, an aggregated view of earnings for all Rewards wallets with support for exporting to CSV.
The delegation wizard, a guided setup for delegating and undelegating wallets and their stake.
