Unexpectedly slow synchronization speeds

Problem

Daedalus Flight offers synchronization speeds that are generally much faster than previous versions of Daedalus. However, since this is a pre-release build, some users may experience unexpected variations in synchronization speeds when starting Daedalus Flight for the first time.

Solution

If this happens, you can reset the connection by opening ‘Daedalus Diagnostics’ from the Help menu (or by clicking on any of the status icons on the loading screen) and clicking on ‘Restart Cardano node’.

Note: This should be done sparingly: repeated node restarts are unlikely to improve synchronization speeds.
