Cardano 1.9.0: Cardano Node 1.9.3 and Cardano Wallet 2020.4.7 - Release Notes
Cardano 1.9.0
Cardano 1.9.0 delivers two key components of the Cardano ecosystem: Cardano Node with considerable improvements, and Cardano Wallet backend integrated with Cardano Node 1.9.3. This release represents the second phase in delivering Byron reboot.
Cardano Node 1.9.3
Cardano Node 1.9.3 incorporates a number of bug fixes, security updates, and networking improvements. In particular, several improvements have been made to networking support for Windows computers, including better support for inaccurate system time settings (NTP).
Cardano 1.9.3 was released 31 March, 2020, and deployed on mainnet. See Cardano Node 1.9.0, Cardano Node 1.9.1, Cardano Node 1.9.2, Cardano Node 1.9.3 GitHub release notes.
Cardano Wallet 2020.4.7
The Cardano Wallet backend provides third-party wallets and small exchanges the opportunity to support Cardano transactions through self-integration. It makes sending and receiving ada on the Cardano blockchain easier, using an HTTP application programming interface (API) and command-line interface (CLI) to manage UTXOs. It can be used as a component of a frontend wallet implementation such as Daedalus.
Cardano Wallet 2020.4.1 delivers the first integration with Cardano new implementation and Byron reboot on three platforms Windows, MacOS and Linux. Cardano Wallet 2020.4.7 provides further improvements for Byron reboot.
