Cardano 1.12.0 delivers new updates for the Cardano node, Cardano DB sync, and the Cardano coin selection library. The Cardano blockchain can now be inspected using the new Cardano Explorer online service, pre-released on 19 May 2020.
Cardano Node 1.12.0
The Cardano node is the core of the Cardano blockchain. The Cardano Node 1.12.0 update includes the integration of the majority of the Shelley features within the node, and corresponding support in the command line tool being pre-released and tested on the Cardano Shelley Testnet. The update also provides further improvements for Cardano Byron, currently running on the mainnet. Cardano Node 1.12.0 was deployed on the Cardano mainnet and released on May 28, 2020. The Cardano Node 1.12.0 GitHub release notes provide further details.
Cardano DB Sync 2.0.0
The Cardano DB sync synchronizes blockchain data into a relational database. The Cardano DB Sync 2.0.0, delivered on 22 May 2020, is a minor update containing a few database schema changes required to recreate the database. Details can be found in its release notes.
Cardano Coin Selection 1.0.1
The Cardano coin selection library provides a Haskell implementation of algorithms for coin selection and fee balancing. The minor update Cardano Coin Selection 1.0.1, released on May 13, 2020, includes adjustments to the implementation of the Largest-First algorithm, and a fix in the implementation of the migration algorithm.
