'Cannot Connect to Network' message after automatic update

Problem

Daedalus wallet prompted you to upgrade and you did upgrade, but after the upgrade you are getting a Cannot Connect to Network message, and you cannot use Daedalus any more. 

Cause

Something has gone wrong with the installation during the automatic update so Daedalus is not installed properly on your Machine. 

Solution

You need to reinstall Daedalus.
