High CPU and RAM utilization

Daedalus is a full-node wallet. It runs cardano-node which is a resource intensive application responsible for executing the Ouroboros protocol making all the chain-selection and block-processing decisions locally on your system.

The expected resources utilization for cardano-node is as follows:

• CPU: 1 core at ~100%
• RAM: 6 to 7 GB

Make sure that your system meets the Daedalus System Requirements to ensure successful operation.
